Description
As an Experienced Tax staff, you will be working with Vail & Park’s corporate, non-profit, LLC and individual tax clients, using your experience and knowledge and gaining wide-ranging public accounting field exposure. You will work with interns, staff, seniors, managers, and partners in completing tax returns for our clients, with direct interface in responding to client questions and ensuring the required documents are provided in a timely manner by each client assigned to you and your tax team. As you gain more experience and knowledge of the Firm’s clients and their specific needs, you will be given more difficult assignments and greater responsibilities.
Responsibilities & Objectives of Experienced Tax staff
· Become familiar with the Firm’s policies and procedures.
· Understand the rules, regulations, and code of professional conduct of the TSBPA.
· Obtain exposure to the types of tax engagements offered by the Firm.
· Become familiar with the Firm technology, tax software, and time and billing software.
· Become familiar with the Firm standards for tax working paper preparation.
· Obtain in-depth knowledge of the practice of public accounting and providing client services.
· Participate as a lead member in a tax team environment
· Obtain necessary CPE for tax projects assigned to you.
· Perform other duties as assigned at times by the senior accountants, managers, or partners.
