Description
As an Experienced Auditor, you will be working with Vail & Park’s clients, using your experience and knowledge and gaining wide-ranging audit field exposure. You will work with interns, staff, seniors, managers, and partners in completing audits for our clients utilizing industry best practices and software packages. You will ensure that the required documents are provided in a timely manner by each client assigned to you and your audit team. As you gain more experience and knowledge of the Firm’s clients and their specific needs, you will be given more difficult assignments and greater responsibilities.
Responsibilities & Objectives of Experienced Audit staff
· Become familiar with the Firm’s policies and procedures.
· Understand the rules, regulations, and code of professional conduct of the AICPA
· Obtain exposure to the types of audit engagements offered by the Firm.
· Become familiar with the Firm technology, audit software, and time and billing software.
· Become familiar with the Firm standards for audit working binder preparation, and binder finalizations.
· Obtain in-depth knowledge of the practice of public accounting and providing client services.
· Participate as a lead member in an audit team environment
· Obtain necessary CPE for audit projects assigned to you.
· Perform other duties as assigned at times by the senior accountants, audit managers, or partners.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 – $40.00 per hour
