Audit Manager

Description and Responsibilities

Conduct financial statements attestation services (including audit, review, and compilation) in accordance with the professional standards. Manage multiple attestation engagements simultaneously, while ensuring quality control requirements are met for each. Supervise audit staffs and/or audit interns who perform the work steps (including, compiling financial statements, preparing audit documentations, and vouching financial records). Work directly with clients on resolving financial reporting and compliance issues. Provide clients with information related to authoritative guidance and best practices. Develop and manage client relationships. Maintain and improve skills through continuing professional education for the performance of attestation engagements and to meet CPA certification requirements. Travel within the Dallas-Fort Worth area to customer sites (10% or less) is required.


Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance. Current CPA license. Three (3) years of accounting and auditing experience, including: Performing audit and assurance procedures of complex areas of clients' financial statements. Performing audits in accordance with GAAS (Generally Accepted Auditing Standards), GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles), PCAOB (Public Company Accounting Oversight Board), and AICPA (American Institute of Certified Public Accountants) auditing standards. Assessing and testing internal controls. Interacting with clients to discuss field audit and assurance issues. Supervising field engagements. Mentoring and coaching audit staff and/or audit interns. Managing concurrent attestation engagements.

Audit Staff / Audit Intern

Description and Responsibilities

Serve as audit staff/intern on engagements with responsibility for performing audit procedures in the areas of cash, receivables, inventory, capital assets, payroll, and expenses. The staff/intern will also review and audit business transaction cycles, including cash, treasury, capital expenditures, and other income and expenses; research audit issues utilitizing electronic databases; review and track financial information utilizing audit-related software; and execute other projects as assigned.

Procedures may range from a single step in the audit program or a complete section of the balance sheet to the responsibility for a division or branch of the client. Specifically, the audit staff/intern is expected to inform the senior, manager, or partner promptly of any problems encountered, provide explanations and research audit issues, and maintain a good working relationship with the client. The intern will work closely with staff, managers, and partners on all phases of the project.


Qualified audit staff candidates should have a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting/Finance and be qualified to sit for the CPA exam in the State of Texas. Qualified audit intern candidates must be pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Accounting (within 18 months of graduation). Both should have a major and overall minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.

The candidate should also have a willingness and ability to work additional hours as needed and travel to various clients sites. We prefer excellent communication skills, outstanding analytical skills, an ability to handle multiple priorities and simultaneous projects, strong computer skills, and the ability to work in a team environment.

Tax Manager

Description and Responsibilities

We currently have career opportunities for Tax Managers. Our Tax Managers direct and review tax staff and seniors in the preparation of individual and entity returns. Successful client relationships are developed by our Tax Managers through focus on compliance and planning.

Our Tax Managers recognize opportunities for additional services to existing clients and development of new client contacts beneficial to the Firm. We encourage our Tax Managers to be active community volunteers.


  • Bachelor’s degree and/or Master’s in Accounting
  • CPA certification
  • Minimum of 6—10 years’ relevant tax experience
  • Extensive knowledge in Federal taxation
  • Above-average leadership, organizational, and communication skills
